I Have Created a Sanctuary…

I'd like to begin with a story today.

For my entire life, monarch butterflies have been one of my very favorite creatures. Years ago, I hand-made great big monarch wings out of cloth, wire and paint. I just dropped into myself, my hands got busy, and before I knew it, I had created majestic wings. I sat back in astonishment. How did I do that?! (When we are awake and in our flow, anything is possible!)

Years later, when I had a tiny baby and was living in Alaska, I began to research pollinator gardens. I wanted, so very much, to create sanctuary for butterflies, hummingbirds, bees, and any other insect who wanted to join in. Honestly, I really wanted to create this pollinator garden, because I knew it would also become much-needed sanctuary for myself. However, I was deep in the throes of early motherhood, and was building a busy clinic (another sanctuary). I was exhausted, and just didn't have the bandwidth to create anything more.

Fast forward some years. I moved into a little sanctuary in rural Massachusetts. Our home was created by an artist and organic gardener, who had already begun gardens to attract and support the butterflies, the hummingbirds, the bees. In this place, I began the work of healing myself, reclaiming my energy. This was the sanctuary I needed. As I woke back up to myself, as I came alive again, I started refining and reworking the gardens. We planted herbs and flowers for the insects and for ourselves. Borage to support the adrenal glands of our precious bees. Milkweed to feed the monarchs. Trumpet-shaped flowers for the hummingbirds. Tulsi and chamomile for our family. As I reclaimed myself, I began buiding a sanctuary of greater depth for the insects, and for ourselves. It wasn't until I had healed myself that I could really create this sanctuary I'd held in my heart for years.

During our first summer, there was one luscious monarch who frequented our gardens. "Hello, Beauty!" I'd whisper to her whenever I saw her. In response she would flit, and swoop and twirl. Last summer, we had three monarchs, and I cried with happiness. This summer, I can't wait to see who our sanctuary attracts.

As it turns out, I have always created sanctuaries and little pockets of beauty. Alters here, clinics and gardens and businesses there... My orientation has always been toward creating beauty and sanctuary, for as many people as possible. This is as clear and strong as my beating heart and life-giving breath.

In creating Radiant Energy for Women- the newsletter, the online course, and soon the audio/podcast offering... it's all about sanctuary. Of course. My work is to create sanctuary in which you reclaim your energy and the entirety of yourself. My goal is to help you heal so that you own/live your inherent beauty, and then can share your unique gifts with the world.

I invite you to step in and take my hand. Come join me as we journey toward your own healing, your own radiance. Radiant Energy for Women (the six-month course) is designed to meet you wherever you are, and guide you (at your own pace) in reclaiming your energy. The course, the community, the design are all oriented toward sanctuary. The much-needed safe space in which participants get to show up truly as they are, and receive support, ideas, guidance and love. The methods are simple, the community is essential, the results are breath-taking. As one participant recently said, " I want this for every woman I know."

I hope you'll hop over and read about the course on this website. Just check it out, take a step in, and see if this sanctuary that I made is right for you.

If you'd like to ask questions, and find out if this really is a fit for you, let's make time. Click Here.

And. Who do you know that might benefit? I'd love for you to share my work and words with as many women as you see fit. This world needs as many strong, energized and happy women as possible. Let's make that happen!

See you on the inside, I hope!

Mwah,

Rebecca
